Wow, two posts in one day.
I have deleted my Facebook account. It was actually very difficult for me. As of right now I've reserved to only temporarily deactivate it. I had a very close friend tell me to get off of there. She's right. It seems like a lot of conflict comes up. I know I spend way too much time there.
If you're coming here to find out why I'm not on FB anymore, I have several reasons. For now, I'm taking a break. You are welcome to come here to see updates about our family.

It seems like a lot of people are making the decision to leave Facebook alone right now, and really, it seems like a wise decision to me. I'm personally taking a break from mine for a while.
I agree. I have one, as I have a lot of family spread throughout the world (no hyperbole! Although I suppose there's no one I know living at the South Pole...) and I use it to look at pictures, keep track of addresses and 'chats' through messages--but I'm careful to keep it as small as I can!

I reactivated my Facebook after a little break. The break was nice, but I do really enjoy being able to stay in touch with family. I have reminded myself it's a tool and not a site that needs to be visited all day long. I'm actually glad my phone can access FB, it keeps me off of the time sucking computer.
